Reiki Conscious Healing - Usui System of Reiki
The two Japanese characters to the left are pronounced "Rei-ki" and means "Universal Life Force". Reiki is a hands-on healing system that channels the Universal Life Force through the hands of a Reiki practitioner for systematic treatment that applies natural vital energy to the whole body. Karen is a certified Reiki Master under the Usui System of Reiki and specializes in re-attunements for existing Reiki practitioners. Karen teaches traditional Reiki but also teaches the Student to become a true healer.

Gendai Reiki
Gendai Reiki is called "Modern Reiki Method" in

Japan

and combines both traditional methods from the old healing society and Usui's original Reiki healing methods. Karen is a certified Gendai Reiki Master "Shihan" and teaches all levels of Gendai Reiki. The Modern Reiki Method is taught in Japan and is the newest level of Reiki to reach North America Gendai Reiki stresses the importance of developing one's own spirituality to increase the transmission of Reiki energy. It is "significant energy" and is only instructed to those who have completed a minimum of Level II of traditional Reiki training. Special Gendai Reiki booster sessions, called "Reiju" are available to Reiki Masters. Reiki practitioners may also receive "Reiju" at the monthly Circle of Light Meetings in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Reiju training is also available to Reiki Masters who are currently actively teaching Reiki.

Students must have Level I and II of the traditional Usui System of Reiki before taking Gendai Reiki.
