skulls start from around 2 inches (approximately$175-$200 USD.)
and are hand-tooled by a brilliant artizan in Brazil who is the only
craftsman
for these peices He selects from high quality crystals that have been
mined
privately. The mining operations have been in place for over 30 years
and
are part of a fine and reputable company in the best crystal producing
region of Brazil, Minas Gerais. There are also some very large crystal
skulls available (3-8 kg). The skulls are available in Amethyst, Clear
Quartz, Smokey Quartz, and Rose Quartz. Other materials are available
on
request. Custom orders are also accepted. Crystal skull collectors
often
start with a small size and as their collection grows, size of the
skulls
also increases. It is common to swap or trade crystal skulls to
increase
the depth of one's collection.
The crystal is very clear as crystals go, are well polished.and are
esthetically very beautiful. You can run your finger over the surface
and
not feel any bumps. I prefer these larger sized ones( 4 inches)
for
their energy and clarity of features such as polished teeth. If you
know
about skulls, you will find this an excellent price with excellent
quality.
